I had to put my beloved Risky down September 17th 2005 after 15 years. I cried like a baby. She was my first labrador and the first dog I ever trained for hunt tests. She was an outstanding gun dog and taught me far more than I ever taught her. Her lines were those of Nandool's Blaze'n Gizz, Full Choke of Chub Lake, FC CH Trumarc's Triple Threat, FTC AFTC Gingers Chocolate August, and many other wonderful dogs.
I dug a deep hole in the hard soil on my property and planted a white pine above her. Indian folk lore says if the dead are buried under a white pine that the soul of the deceased would go to the pine and the pine would care for it for eternity.
It is so hard to say goodby.
I miss them so much.
The only pain they ever caused me was the day they left me.
INT AM CH HIGH VOLTAGE BLAZE'N CHASE JH CD WC CGC
L&M'S RISKY BUSINESS JH
Our sweet and wonderful Chase was killed in a tragic accident in June 2004. He needs no introduction to those who have seen him in the show ring. He had tremendous presense and as far as faults go - he had none. He was loved and raised by Jake (pictured above) my sister Jan and her husband Steve and now missed greatly missed by all. If there was ever a dog that could pull on your heart strings, it was him. He now lives on in his offspring.
Hillview's High Voltage "Dam of Canadian National Amateur Champion & US National Open Finalist CNAFTC/CFTC/FC/AFC He's Czar Nicholas". Born May of 1992 died restfully in her sleep Late December of 1995. She was the perfect dog in all respects. She slept with Jennifer when Jennifer was little and hunted pheasants in the Dakota's for many years. I could let any child handle A.C. at fun tests or trials. She was high powered, intelligent, and gentle. She lives on in her children. Her daughter "High Voltage Power On Penny" now sleeps with Jennifer. A.C. will be greatly missed by all who knew her gentle soul. Good by our love.

call name SHEILA
High Voltage Shocking Sheila SH passed December 30th 2009 just short of 13 years old. She and I wore out a lot of tires together over the years. I held her when she first came into this world and I held her when she left it. I will miss her terribly. She taught me far more then I taught her. I sure loved my little Sheila.
Full sister to AFC Northstar's Bittersweet Business MH and dam of many titled Junior, Senior, Master titled dogs. Sheila won or placed in every puppy trial I ever ran her in and she won the only Hunters stake I ran her in. I sure miss my little Sheila. Daughter of NFC AFC Storm's Riptide Star and Rocky's Autumn Holly. We had a lot of fun together little Sheila.
1996 - 2010
FC AFC CFC CNAFC HE'S CZAR NICHOLAS
Multiple National Qualifier and Finalist.
Nick qualified for more nationals than I can remember. Nick pulled my daughter on a sled as a young dog learned parlar tricks easily and was a loved companion and pet before he was sold to Jim Kramer as a field trial prospect. That same summer Jim had derby points on him and got him Qualified All Age. Jim Finished Nick's Field Champion title trained by Dave Rorem and was sold to Norm Elder and Pat Lindell. Norm kept Nick in Training with Dave Rorem while he finished his AFC/CFC/CAFC and eventually earned the title of Canadian National Amateur Champion. The same year he won the Canadian National Amateur he was also a US National Open Field Trial Finalist and double header winner. Nick was an amazing dog and an amazing competitor. The Elders were kind enough to tell me Nick had a special place in their family, hearts, and lives, he spent his retirement as a valued and much loved family member and had free roam of their farm. They said he had a wonderful live with them. I thank them for that.
High Voltage Power On Penny SH
Dam of more titled dogs than I can remember including the #4 National top ten derby dogs and one of the very few Master Hunter Obedience Trial Champion, and currently an AFC.
I lost my wonderful, magnificient Penny February 21st 2013. Ironically it was on my Sheilas birthday. I loved them both so much and miss them greatly.
