  • Teddy's 2 full Brothers one with an SH titles and one with master legs (only two in hunt test homes) Ted started training late but will be running seniors soon. Ted has 2 for 2 in juniors (If we finish Juniors it is one less pass to finish seniors and masters). Ted showed me he was a keeper when he did his first field mark as a baby - it was down a hill across a short field, across quite an expanse of swamp grass and bulrush stubble in a dried swamp, up a hill to the mark. I expected him to make it half way across the swamp and get confused (very typical for a puppy) he didn't and surprised me by getting his bird his first try. I knew I had something then!
  • He wanted the birds so bad as a baby I was told I would need shoulder surgury before he was trained. Once he actually got away on me as we were leaving the line and ran back to the line and layed down (very reluctant to leave without another bird).
  • When Ted has finished his master we plan on showing - hunting ability is my priority in my breeding program and always has been. Show is just the fluff and proved nothing except the dog can look good in  the ring - I like a dog that looks good working in the field first and foremost.
